I used the over reduced cane from day one. I ran it thought the pasta machine several times to stretch out the pattern, then ran it though with a texture sheet and highlighted the raised areas with gold PearlEx. For the contrasting sheet I crackled gold leaf over a sheet of black clay, cut the two sheets into designs and sealed with Kato sauce. I sanded the sides and back.
For some reason I had a hard time with the photos, I tried 6 different backgrounds, these were the best... the pieces are more attractive in person.

ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I love the color with the black, almost zebra print on top. I love animal print and color together. The shape is really neat too!
