I added a wire doodad to a polymer clay tile bead that I removed from another necklace..... maybe you remember by catapillar and butterfly necklace?
Click on the photos for a closer look.
I wired the doodad to the tile, here's how it looked on the back before I covered the wire.
I concealed the wire on the back with a piece of textured clay.
For display purposes I put it on a ball chain but I am going to use beads that match the bead clusters for the final look.
.....and here it is with one of my vintage Easter Paper Mache candy containers.
Oh.... and I wanted to share a recipe with you... I found it on Pinterest.... just what I needed another distraction!
7-Up Biscuits. Sounds weird but they are as good as they look.... and I think they look yummy!
and because they are a little sweet they make perfect strawberry shortcake. All that is needed is a dollop of whipped cream.
Now I'm hungry again.... I need more shortcake, this time with raspberries.
Thanks for stopping by.
Very cool looking pendant! I love the wire work on the front, adds a special touch!
ReplyDeleteThese 7-Up Biscuits do look yummy and I LOVE strawberry shortcake. I might have to try making them. Sure can find great stuff on Pinterest.
I agree, an abundance of great stuff on Pinerest.... I have to pace myself.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Pinterest can be overwhelming. I still love it, though! I also love 7-UP biscuits. My Gran also has a well-used recipe for Coca-Cola cake that we think is pretty darn good.
ReplyDeleteI agree DK it can be over whelming but I've found many good recipes and lots of other interesting things....I'll never catch up wtih Trina tho... she is a "pin it" queen!
