Polymer Clay Beads

The Julie Picarello challenge on "Discussions from the Claypen" was a big success!  Most of the regulars showed up and many new folks popped in to say hello.  3 pages of gorgeous photos were on display.  Here is a link if you'd like take a peek.

  Marlea was the winner of the beautiful pendant donated by Julie Picarello. Our next challenge will be voodoo dolls of Marlea...  lol, just kidding!


I used the recycled canes to make beads.

I used a couple different canes to make this assortment.


I love these, I think they look like fern leaves.


Red and Grey


                                                       Mostly Blue with a touch of red and green


                                               I like the stained glass look of these.



                                                Blue and green capsule beads


  Mirror image hearts from the cane ends. I am making round beads from the canes. to use with these.

    What cool beads! I especially like 'fern' canes. The recycled aspect of the beads fascinates me.

    Awesome!! I like the blue/purple colors so much, the black is perfect in the. I was surprised at how much I like the red-grey, too... it must be autumn. :) Oh well HERE it's winter - it's snowing today - apparently we are to go straight from summer into winter. Grrrr.
